Plantation details:
-Planted in July 1991 with Pinus radiata (GF 19) seedlings at 1000 stems per ha
-A few older trees (Pinus, Eukalypt and Poplar) remain on the block
-Actual area of planted pines is 14.3 ha out of a total area of 16 ha
-Trees pruned in either 2 or 3 lifts to 6m and thinned to an average density of 350 - 400 stems per ha

Land details:
-Land is owned by a family trust partnership
-Current rateable valuation is $75,000
-Contains a water tank and a couple of troughs. Although not hooked up to the water scheme it could be.
-Has an old tin shed and boundary fences
-Rates are currently $639.80 per annum.
-The land is ideally suited for harvesting as there is road access to the boundary. The railway and loading yard are only 500 meters away in Palmerston. There are two sawmills within 1 km of the plantation. The plantation is 55 km from the Dunedin harbour basin and 60 km from Port Chalmers

-The plantation is registered with MAF
-The Vendors have a holding account for credits with NZ Emission Units Registry
- The Vendors have obtained the first 878 credits (2008-2010) and expect to earn a further 3,650 over the next 7 years
