David Thomas AREINZ

David joined Harcourts to manage the Commercial Division in Hawke's Bay after specialising in selling commercial property during the past ten years and gaining an excellent reputation within the industry and with clients. David now also has the responsibility of Sales Manager for the Napier/Taradale sales team. Having lived and worked in Napier for the past 51 years, most of his working experience has been involved with Customer Service, predominantly in the retail sector. During the previous 13 years he, along with his wife Margaret, operated his own businesses. David joined the Real Estate Industry in 1998 selling residential property and immediately made an impact with numerous company awards. He started specialising in commercial and business sales in 1999 where he quickly developed a reputation for his honesty and getting results. In 2000 David graduated from an Auctioneer's course in Auckland tutored by one of New Zealand's top Auctioneer's, Mark Sumich. He moved into Branch Management in 2002 and in 2006 attained his AREINZ qualification and was immediately appointed the Principal Officer for the company he was working for. During 2007 David was elected to the REINZ Hawke's Bay Committee.
